'The Witcher 3' Proves That Waiting To Buy Games Is Always Better

The Witcher 3 got some more free DLC this week in the form of finishing animations: new ways for series hero Geralt to end his foes with grace and style. It's the latest in a long string of small content packs that have added new missions, weapons and clothing sets to a game already brimming with content in a continuing affirmation of CD Projekt Red's commitment to pro-player development. That's not all they've given us, either: a recent patch added streamlined inventory management, an alternative movement system, bug fixes and more gameplay tweaks (the patch does have some performance issues, but in my experience they've been relatively minor). The Witcher 3 was already an amazing game, but there's little question about the fact that it's better now.
